For curious families

Meet the residents.

There are goats living on the land at La Finca. They are the first thing most guests walk out to see.

The goats are residents, not an attraction on a schedule — they are out on the land while you are, and feeding them is part of the visit rather than a paid add-on. Dogs are welcome here for a pet fee, but they stay leashed or supervised and never loose, because the goats live here and you are the visitor.

How many of them there are changes through the year: kids are born, and some move on to new pastures. The first ones were named — Axel and Rose, then Cornelia and Barbara — and after that the owners gave up. One doe is convinced she is a dog. A few keep to themselves. Most are simply curious, and whoever is closest to the fence will follow you.

Goat pellets are provided so you can feed them. They cannot eat everything, though, so the house manual lists what is safe and that list is worth reading before you hand anything over the fence.
